Test Preview – France v Fiji

In the last weekend of test matches for the year, France will host Fiji in Paris on Saturday.

Both teams have tasted success with one win out of the two test played so far in November.

The French fell short against the Springboks two weeks ago while Fiji were hammered by Scotland on the same weekend.

They did come away with wins last weekend. France beat Argentina at home while Fiji ran away with Uruguay in their match.

Up to now Fiji were not able to register a win against the French in the 10 test matches the two nations have played against each other.

Fiji coach McKee has picked his strongest possible team in the quest to upset the French and get their first win over the f

“Our players are very aware of the strengths and weakness of the French players as they play against them in Top 14 and European Cup matches,” he said.

Fiji will have to be as good on defence as they are on attack and they will be on par in the set pieces. The French team has been building up nicely under Jacques Brunel.

With both teams able to bring some flair to the game, we should be in for a great spectacle on Saturday.
