Scotland edge poor Argentina


Scotland ended the November series off with a win against Argentina on Saturday beating them 14-9.

It was a tight contest wit Scotland that had to step up to take the win.

They outscore the Pumas with one try to none and at the end made the difference between the two sides.

It was an a game with plenty of mistakes from both sides. Argentina will also not be happy with their gaolkicking on the day.

Greig Laidlaw opened the scoring with a well-taken penalty.

Sanchez had a chance to draw level, but his shot at goal was wide.

It was an arm wrestle for most of the match.

The two teams went into the break with Scotland leading 6-3.

Argentina level things out after the break with a penalty but Scotland went in front again with a penalty of their own.

Scotland then upped their game on attack and in the 64th minute they got over for the only try of the test with Sean Maitland.

Argentina got another penalty but the Scots held on to take the win
