Fiji was just too good for the USA in the Cup Final at the Cape Town Sevens on Sunday as they were crown Champions.

The Blitzboks ended third after conceding another late try in the semi final, this time against the same Fiji side.

The final was a on-sided affair as Fiji ran out winners with 29-15.

They had a 22-0 lead in the first half and never looked like losing the final.

The Blitzboks had to fight hard for their bronze medal against New Zealand with a win of 10-5 on Sunday.

England finished fifth while Argentina claimed the Challenge Trophy.

The World Sevens Series now takes a break until January 26-27 when it restarts in Hamilton before heading to Sydney on February 2-3.
