There is some good news but then also some bad news for the Wallabies coming out of Australia as most franchises started to get ready for Super Rugby.
With the news that flyhalf Quade Cooper will be in the plans for 2019 the news also came through that Sean McMahon will be out for the season.
McMahan has played 26 test for the Australia and was busy signing a deal with the Sunwolves which he now have lost due to the injury.
The deal was depended on his full fitness.
But back to the good news as the wallaby playmaker, Cooper was reported to back in the national squad plans and spend a week with the team in the conditioning camp as reported by Sport24.
After being in the wilderness last year Cooper signed a contract with the Rebels for the 2019 Super Rugby season.
Surely Cooper and his fans will want him now to have a great Super Rugby season with the Rebels so that he can play his way into the Wallabies World Cup Squad for later this year in Japan.
Cooper has played 70 Tests for Australia since making his debut in 2008 and he played in both the 2011 and 2015 World Cups.
