Scotland start Six Nations with bonus point win over Italy

Scotland started their campaign in this years Guinness Six Nations with a bonus point win over Italy on Saturday, beating them 33-20.

A late surge from the Italians, when Scotland had a man in the bin flatters the Italians who was outplayed for most of the test match.

Blair Kinhorn scored a hat-trick of tries to gave the Scots a comfortable lead and in full control.

Scotland coach will not be happy in the way his team ended the match with one man down letting the Italians score three tries from poor defence from his side.

Italy could only manage a penalty in the first 70 minutes of the match as Scotland ran them riot.

Italy finished the stronger and were rewarded through scores from Guglielmo Palazzani, Edoardo Padovani and Angelo Esposito, but they succumbed to their 11th successive Six Nations defeat under Conor O’Shea.
