It is a huge match for the Lions against the Jaguares this weekend in Johannesburg.

They have now lost two matches in a row against the Stormers and Bulls and need to get back to winning ways.

You do not won Super Rugby in March but you can destroy your changes and they are walking a thin line in making it very difficult for themselves.

The Lions coach has turned to his younger player for this week clash.

He had included Wandisile Simelane, Ruan Vermaak and Vincent Tshituka in his starting team for this weekend.

There is quit a bit of excitement in the air around Simelane who has been coming through the ranks and was the 2018 Junior Springbok Player of the year.

He is such an exciting player and there are huge expectation on this young man to reach the top.

De Bruin also made some changes to his bench with Nathan McBethJames Venter and Tyrone Green all get an opportunity this weekend.Simelane will partner Franco Naude in the midfield, Mahuza will be on the wing. We also see Ross Cronje at nine with Kwagga Smith moving to number eight. Tshituka will come in on the side of the scrum with Vermaak will partner Herbst at lock. The Jaguares made 11 changes to there side for this weekend. Coach Gonzalo Quesada intention is to rest a few of his players this week. Only Guido Petti and Marcos Kremer remains in the team that beat the Blues upfront. He also only kept Joaquin Diaz Bonilla and Matías Moroni in the backline.

“There are several factors that led us to this composition of the team. Many players are training very well and are close to being starters, so it seems that Saturday’s game is a good opportunity to see them,” Quesada told the Jaguares’ official website.

“There was little rotation in the first three games, we thought it was the best. They were very intense matches and with great physical demand. Some of the players made a lot of effort and are on the edge.”

We need a good win from the Lions to get them back to winning ways and this weekend may just be that.
