Injuries is part of sport and in Super Rugby you are guaranteed of it during the long season of top class rugby being played week after week.
The Bulls have suffered a few setbacks this season so far as we reach the halfway stages of the competition.
After the lost against the Jaguares last weekend Eli Snyman and Ruan Steenkamp has been added to the already long injury list.
At this stage you do not want to be playing at Loftus as a lock.
Snyman will be out for six weeks and Steenkamp four according to their team doctor Herman Rossouw.
Snyman got a grade-three AC shoulder-joint injury and Steenkamp took a knock to the head which left him with concussion and a fractured jaw.
But with the bad came some good news as well for the Pretoria outfit.
Springbok RG Snyman and Duncan Matthews have fully recovered from their injuries and will be available for selection for this weeks challenge against the Reds.
Marco van Staden and Roelof Smit came through nicely in the SuperSport Challenge match against the Pumas this past weekend and will also be available for this weekend match.
Although Jason Jenkins and Warrick Gelant are doing well on their recovery, a decision on their availability will only be made later in the week if Pote Human needs them.
The Bulls will host the Reds in Pretoria on Saturday at 17:15 for their round 9 clash.
