The Reds had some hard to work hard to finally secure a 32-26 win against the Sunwolves on Friday.
Ill-discipline was unfortunately a major problem from both sides during the game.
The Sunwolves had Semisi Masirewa getting a yellow card in the first half and another in the second half which left the referee with no other option than to show the winger a red card.
The Reds Tom Rowe was send off with a red card after he retaliated with a boot in the face of Harry Hockings.
Hockings earned himself a yellow card for holding Rowe foot.
That yellow card left the Sunwolves with one less player on the field and the contest was over.
The Sunwolves did lead 13-8 at the break bit the Reds were able to come back each time and secured a win at the end.
The Sunwolves discipline have been an issue since the entered Super Rugby and no team can afford to get two yellow cards in the first half and another three in the second half and still expect to win.
They had to play with only 12 players in the last ten minutes which made it much easier for the Reds to secure a win at home.
The Reds can count themselves lucky with the win and the poor discipline the Sunwolves shown in the match.
If the Sunwolves could kept all fifteen players on the field they just may have taken this one.
