The Isuzu Southern Kings have secure the signatures of CJ Velleman, Tango Balekile, Yaw Penxe and Sibusiso Sithole.
Penxe who was the top try-scorer for the Kings this season has signed a two year extension after joining the side in 2017.
Velleman has been one of the best openside flankers in South Africa and are getting back to his best form after a long injury last year.
He will be vital for the Kings cause going forward.
Balekile has signed a three year contract with the Kings until 2022. He was part of the 2016 SA Under-20 side.
ISUZU Southern Kings Director of High Performance, Robbi Kempson, expressed his excitement at the contract renewals of the four players.
“We are pleased that Yaw Penxe, CJ Velleman, Tango Balekile and Sbura Sithole have committed to staying and being a part of the exciting squad that we are building for the future,” said Kempson.
“These are quality players who have proven their worth in the ISUZU Southern Kings jersey. We look forward to their continued growth, commitment and dedication towards a competitive team.”
Kempson has also confirmed that negotiations are well underway for renewal of other players and recruitment of new players.
