Pumas beat Golden Lions to stay unbeaten

The champions iSG Pumas has remained unbeaten so far in this years competition after beating the Xerox Golden Lions 51-33 on Saturday.

It was a try-fest at Emirates Airline Park with 12 tries being scored.

Chris Smith scored a try with four conversions and two penalties. They were quickly out of the blocks and led 27-7 at halftime.

It was more an even second half with the Golden Lions scoring 17 points but the Pumas just had an answer every time the Lions got over the whitewash.

The lead in the first half at the end was decisive in the visitors victory

iSG Pumas – Tries: Neil Maritz (2), Alwayno Visagie (2), Phumzile Maqondwana, Chris Smith. Conversions: Smith (4). Penalty goals: Smith (2).
