There is some interesting names that was on the list for another of Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus alignment camps.
Social media was buzzing when they saw the names of overseas based players Marcell Coetzee, Rynardt Elstadt, Vincent Koch, Franco Mostert, Cheslin Kolbe, Cobus Reinach and Frans Steyn.
A few new local players also got on the sheet for this alignment camp in Pretoria. They are Herschel Jantjies and Kwagga Smith who many supporters over the last few weeks of Super Rugby felt they deserved a look at.
Players from the Bulls and Sharks will only join the group from next week Monday after their Super Rugby quarter final matches played over the past weekend.
Erasmus will start putting together his squad for a shorten Rugby Championship before he will announce his World Cup squad who will travel to Japan in September.
The Rugby Championship will kickoff on the 20 July against the Aussies in Johannesburg before the Boks will travel to Wellington to face the All Blacks and the end the tournament against Argentina in Salta.
The Springboks will have a once-off test against Argentina in Pretoria before departing for the World Cup.
