SF1 Match Report – Classy Jaguares outplay Brumbies

It was a dominating performance from the Jaguares when they beat the Brumbies 39-7 on Saturday.

They just outplayed the visitors from the first minute and never let go.

The Jaguares quickly got into their game and they were also first to get over the line when Tomas Cubelli got hold of a loose ball that was kicked forward.

This gave the host a 7-0 lead.

Jaguares quickly extend the lead with a penalty to take an 10-0 early lead after just 8 minutes.

The Brumbies gave too many penalties away which the Jaguares was happy to kick for points and extended the lead again.

The Jaguares got a lineout close to the Brumbies line and from the lineout they played it with the forwards to send Lavanini over for their second try of the match.

The Brumbies tried to get back into the game but some silly mistakes on attack and loosing almost all their lineouts did not help.

They looked stunt by the 20-0 lead that the host build up in just 20 minutes.

The Brumbies did manage to get a lineout just before halftime on the Jaguares line from which they took it through a few phases with the forwards before Folau Fainga’a got over the whitewash.

This took the scoreboard to 20-7 for the host when they went in for halftime.

The second half had a slow start with the Brumbies playing in the right side of the field but handling errors stop any chances they had to get close the the Jaguares line.

Matias Orlando was at the end of a turnover try when the Brumbies spilled the ball on attack with the Jaguares happy to counter and get over for their third try of the match.

Matias Orlando showed us his class as he ripped through the Brumbies defence to score his second of the match and a lead of 34-7.

The Jaguares had another try in them when Emiliano Boffelli got over the whitewash.

At the end the Jaguares was just to strong for the Brumbies and move on t the final.

    Crusaders have not lost a home game since like snapchat came out.
    I hope the Jags win too but…. they have the Knight Templar on their side & such

  2. @Americano: They cheat like the AB and if they will not allowed to cheat the Jaguares will take it, This Jaguares side is a complete unit and they only place the Saders have them is at scrum time.

    I believe that they have a better attack even, but travel and BMT will play a huge role, hope the stage is not to big for the players. They must treat this as any other game
