Griquas had enough in the tank to get a win over the Limpopo Blue Bulls when they beat them 35-24
Griquas took the better of the early exchanges playing all the rugby in Limpopo Blue Bulls twenty two.
Blue Bulls gave away a few penalties in that period. Griquas was doing all the play with ball in hand but they just could not get pass the Blue Bulls defence.
Limpopo Blue Bulls received a yellow card for dangerous tackle which left them with 14 men on the field.
It opened up for Griquas with Federicks running great lines to get over for the first try of the match. This gave Griquas a 7-0 lead.
The game never really got going with both teams making themselves guilty of giving away too many penalties at the breakdown.
Limpopo Blue Bulls were just brilliant in defence keeping Griquas out throughout the first 25 minutes of the match.
Limpopo Blue Bulls then got another yellow card for an elbow to the head which did not help their cause.
Griquas intercept a bad pass from Limpopo Blue Bulls which send Windvogel away to the line. This gave the men from Kimberley a 14-0 lead.
This was also the score that the two teams went into the break.
Du Toit from Limpopo Blue Bulls took the first points with a great try to put his team on the board. This closed the gab right back to 14-5.
Griquas hit right back after the Blue Bulls gave away too many penalties which gave Swart the opportunity to get over the whitewash.
This extended Griquas lead to 21-5 after 45 minutes.
Next over the line was Immelman for Griquas who has been the standout player on the park throughout the game.
Griquas then also got a yellow card for a neck-roll.
The Limpopo Blue Bulls took full advantage of the extra man with Cronje getting over the line with some power.
We then saw an unbelievable try from Du Plessis that started inside his own goal area to run 103 meters to score his try.

Griquas hit back immediately with Maketlo getting over the line to take the score to 35-19.
Molebogeng was at the end of a great try from Limpopo Blue Bulls after Griquas failed to clear their line.
This reduce the score again to 35-24 but that was the final action of the match with Griquas taking the win
