Australia scored four tries to take the win over Argentina and second place in the Championship with a final score of 33-21.
A disappointing crowd came out to see Argentina take on Australia in the English capital with both teams wanting to end on a high.
Both teams showed early on that they want to give the ball air and it was Argentina over the whitewash first claiming the first try but it was disallowed due to the player being in front of the charged down in the lead up to the try.
The Aussies used a few penalties to move right up to the Argentina line and after a poor exit kick the Aussies came back to score the first try.
That gave the Aussies the early lead of 10-0 with a penalty over the Argentinians. After a few high tackles from Australia, Hooper was send off with a yellow card and through some good phases the Argentinian forwards they scored their first try.
The Aussies scored next with another penalty to make the score 13-5 after 26 min.
Another few high tackles and the Aussies was again at the wrong side of a yellow card but it did not stop them from getting their second try of the match just before half time.
Argentina had the final say in the first half with a penalty to make the score 18-8 for Australia at the break.
It was all Argentina at the start of the second half as they attack from the kick-off and eventual got over for the first try of the second half which took the lead of Australia to only to 18-15, but a mistake from Argentina gave Australia another change to stretch the lead again to 25-15.
Argentina made a lot of play but their handling let them down at the end as they left a few tries on the field which you can not afford at this level. They did get close to the Aussie score again with a few penalties but it was the Aussies that pulled away with first a penalty and then an intercept try at the end of the match
At the end the Aussies got a bonus point try and end the Championship second after New Zealand. Both teams tried to run the ball and it was for most parts an entertaining test match.
The Aussies still have one more test against the All Blacks and then it will be time for the end of year tours to Europe.
