According to reports Bees Roux, who recently avoided jail time for killing a police offer through a plea bargain, signed with French Top 14 new boys, Bordeaux.
Roux who was relieved of his contract at the Blue Bulls last week for practising with the Pumas Rugby Union without consent, has joined the French club ahead of the 2011/2012 French Top 14 season.
Roux also walked free from charges of culpable homicide and drunken driving after entering into a plea bargain where he agreed to pay the victim’s family ZAR 750 000. His agent was quoted saying that they were exploring various ways to come up with the cash.
Roux will join former Blue Bulls team mate Heini Adams at the French club.
