The Toyota Cheetahs started the new Guinness PRO14 season hammering last years finalist in Bloemfontein on Friday night.
They ran in seven tries against the Warriors with Ruan Pienaar the talisman yet again for the Bloemfontein base side. Pienaar joined the Cheetahs during the Currie Cup and showed then already that he will be a key player in this years campaign.
Rhyno Smith and Joseph Dweba had also special nights for the Cheetahs scoring twice for the home side.
Pienaar was first to score for the home side gathering a fumble deep in Glasgow half.
Dweba extended the lead showing of his pace and strength. Glasgow did fought back with Frisby but Dweba added his second try from a maul.
Glasgow stayed in the match with Nairn giving them some hope to stay with the Cheetahs.
But the home side hit back with Steenkamp popping to Smith to get over under the post.
The tries kept coming for the home side with Glasgow that just could not keep up with the pace of the Cheetahs game.
