Cell C Sharks coach Sean Everitt has named his team to face the Tafel Lager Griquas in their first Currie Cup game this weekend in Durban.

The two teams will start the new season at Jonsson Kings Park on Friday evening.

Everitt has named a few youngsters on the bench for this weekend clash.

With ten of their Super Rugby quarter final players in Friday team, Everitt has put a strong team together for this match.

A name that stands out is that of JP Pietersen who has return to the Sharks Tank and will be starting in the midfield this weekend with Co-Captain Jeremy Ward.

Curwin Bosch will be starting the game at ten with Cameron Wright will be his halfback partner.

The match is at 19:05 on Friday evening and will be broadcast live on SuperSport.

There is still tickets left and it can be purchased via The Sharks Ticket Office, or at The Sharks merchandise kiosk at the Pavilion Shopping Centre (fountain court 2, cinema level).
