It is two from two for the SuperSport Challenge champions, Tafel Lager Griquas after they hold off a spirited Phakisa Pumas in Kimberley on Friday.
It is also a second bonus point win for the men from Kimberley showing great early form in the Currie Cup.
With only a narrow 10-5 lead at the break the home side still had plenty to do to get pass the Pumas who also narrowly lost last week against the Golden Lions in the first round of matches.
It was again Griquas who took their opportunities better like they did against the Sharks last week and with a late penalty and try to pull away from the Pumas.
The Pumas was in the game throughout the match and with 11 minute left they were deadlocked at 29-all.
The first half was as tight as the halftime score shows with both teams trying to get ascendancy through the pack.
It was a penalty, try and a conversion that gave Griquas the lead at the break.
Griquas was first on the scoreboard after the break when Keyter gather a great pass to go over.
That was cancelled quickly by the Pumas Beerwinkel who also gathered a great pass to get over.
It was one for me and one for you as the game progress with Swarts for the home side and Nel and Naude for the Pumas to lock the scoreboard at 29-all.
It was a penalty by de Beer that put Griquas ahead again and Volmink wrapped up the game for them beating the Pumas 37-29
