Currie Cup Preview – DHL WP v Xerox Golden Lions

Province are back at home this weekend as they host the Golden Lions.

The Lions are coming off a win in the first round and a bye last week. Province on the other hand had a win against the Blue Bulls and came unstuck against the Sharks last week.

Springboks Leyds and Notshe are back in the starting XV.

Leyds will take Marais place at fullback with SP moving to the wing.

Paul de Wet and Josh Stander makes up a new halfback pairing for this weekend. Notshe starts at eight and Carlu Sadie gets his first start this season for Province.

Marvin Orie will be back for the Lions this weekend. Orie will partner with Ruben Schoeman.

Hacjivah Dayimani will also run out in his first Currie Cup match of this season.

In the only change to the backline Jan-Louis la Grange gets the nod in midfield.

We can expect some improvement from Province after coach Dobson came out criticising his side. The Lions had a great comeback against the Pumas in week one so we do expect both sides scoring tries.
