World Rugby has made the decision to cancel this weekend matches between England v France and New Zealand v Italy.

This is after they decided not to risk the safety of players and supporters as typhoon Hagibis is set to hit Japan.

Reports suggest that typhoon Hagibis will be the biggest typhoon to hit Japan this year. It is also likely that this typhoon will cause major damage.

Both games will be declared a draw and teams will share two points each. This will give England the top spot in Pool C.

In Pool B New Zealand top the pool with South Africa the second team in the pool.

World Rugby has yet to make a decision on the crucial Pool A match between Japan and Scotland. They said that they are doing everything they can to ensure Sunday games go ahead as schedule.

A thorough assessment of venues will take place after the typhoon has passed before a final decision is made on Sunday morning.

Ireland v Samoa match will go ahead as planned on Saturday.

  1. And again, World Rugby give preferential treatment to their favourites NZ and England. No need to play an extra game and risk getting players injured. FFS, when will this corruption end???
