The Springboks have won the Rugby Championship for the first time since 2009 after beating Argentina in Salta 46-13.
It was a clinical display in that second half that secured the win and gave the Springboks the Championship for 2019.
They dominated play and key players did stand up when it matters even when they were reduce to 14 players.
Pollard had one of his best test matches for the Springboks scoring two tries and kicked 8 out of 10 kicks but it was more the way he control the game for the Boks that stood out.
His passing game was on par and he defended the inside channel well, an area which the Argentinians like to attack.
Another standout players was Trevor Nyakane who did great in the scrums and was one of the top defenders making 15th tackles in the game.
The bonus point win would have pleased Rassie Erasmus with his players taking the opportunities that was created.
Beside form Pollards two tries, Mbonambi, Mapimpi and Kolbe got over the whitewash.
It was not perfect but it was a hell of a step in the right direction for the Boks.
The first half was scrappy and a bit untidy to say the least but the Springboks second half performance was great to see.
Argentina was first over the try line when Sanchez founded space to send Cordero over from a cross kick.
The Springboks hit back with a perfect lineout drive when Bongi was at the end of it all.
With the early penalty from Pollard gave the Boks a 8-7 lead.
Giving away penalties the Boks let Argentina back in the lead but two great scrums gave Pollard the opportunity to kick six points.
Sanchez got one back to reduce the Boks lead to 17-13.
The try from Pollard just before halftime was crucial for the Springboks. He kicked a penalty just after the break to give the Boks a 27-13 lead.
The Pumas camped on the Springboks line but decided to go every time for the lineout and not take their points.
Faf De Klerk was send off with a yellow card after the referee warned the Springboks for too many penalties in the red zone.
The Pumas kept kicking for the line and struggled to get over the Boks defence.
The Springboks took their opportunity with 14 men and worked their way back into the Pumas twenty two and Pollard got his second try from a great pass by Kolbe who was playing nine at that moment.
From here on end the Springboks dominated play and were massive in defence. Mapimpi and Kolbe got their tries and gave the Springboks a great 46-13 win.
