    Blues v Vodacom Bulls (Result)

On a wet field the Blues and Bulls could only manage a 22-all draw on Friday.

Both teams struggled to keep the ball in hand with the wet weather and made a few handling errors when they did try and attack out wide.

It was the Bulls that were first on the board with a penalty but the Blues replied with a penalty of their own.

With the scores level the Bulls were building nicely with their forward in the Blues red zone and got Liebenberg over the line for the first try.

Libbok did not convert so they only took a 8-5 lead.

The Blues hit back immediately after they got a try disallowed and took the lead back at 10-8 after 24 minutes in the game.

There was more opportunities but both sides just couldn’t hold on to the board as they go into the break with the Blues leading 10-8.

The Blues were first to score in the second half from a great lineout move to get over for their second try and extend their lead to 15-8.

The Bulls got back into the Blues half with some great play from the whole team keeping the ball in hand.

The ball got to Hendricks who kick ahead and gather the ball brilliantly to score the try in the corner.

Libbok converted to make it even again at 15-all.

The Blues found themselves back in Bulls twenty two and after a few penalties they went for a scrum and it paid off with a try from Akira Ioane bashing over the line.

This gave the lead back to the Blues again 22-15 with 15 minutes to go in the match.

The Bulls got back in Blues half and with some sustain pressure they got their third try and got the scoreboard level again at 22-all with four minutes to go.

The Blues tried to get that extra point and even got a penalty at the end of the game but could not kicked it over which resulted that they played to a draw 22-all.

Do not know if this will help any of them in their quest to make the playoffs but he Bulls will be happier of the two for a draw away from home.
