The fight the Sharks shown after the hooter was about the best commitment they showed all match.
It was really an ugly game from start to finish and one feel that referee Nic Berry could have stamp his authority down earlier which would have stop the niggle that went on throughout the match.
The constant questioning of TJ Perenara on the referee calls did also not help and it is something he needs to sort out as a official going forward and specially before the World Cup.

This gave the visitors a 20-3 lead with the Sharks in real trouble but the Sharks came good just before the end of the half when the Du Preez twice combined in the buildup with Am drawing the defence before giving Fassi the ball to go over for their first try of the match.
This reduce the Hurricanes lead to 20-10 at the break.
The Sharks was able to strike first in the second half with another good buildup to send Juan Schoeman over which made it a three point game.
The Sharks also started to dominate in the scrums and Mapimpi almost got over for another but was tackled out on the corner flag.

The Hurricanes then broke away from their own twenty two to work their way all the way to the Sharks red zone and scored in the corner.
