    Recap

It was one of the worst performances from a Sharks team when we had to witness the Jaguares humiliated them 51-17 on Saturday.

The Jaguares came out to play and not even SuperSports commentating team excuses of humility could safe the Sharks.

The Jaguares were just too good in almost all aspects of the game but one need to point out their defence that knocked the Sharks back every time.

They had superior speed and handling in the game and it showed on the scoreboard.

The Sharks took a while to get going with the Jaguares taking full advantage of their lapse in defence scoring the first try of the match.

With a lead of 7-0 the Jaguares then had to defend a lot with the Sharks keeping the ball in hand and with some magic from Bosch again, Andrews went over for their first try.

The Sharks went into the lead with a penalty from Du Preez.

The game never got going with both sides just could not keep the ball in hand.

From a knock on from the Sharks in the Jaguares twenty Matera went over.

That gave the Jaguares a 14-10 lead.

Pablo Matera made his presence felt on both sides of halftime scoring before and after the break.

This gave the Jaguares a great lead of 28-10. The Sharks just did not look to be in the game with Robert Du Preez not able to get his backline going and his tactical play also not good.

The Jaguares just kept speeding up the game and the Sharks had no answer on defence. To be honest the defence was as poor we have seen from any team this season.

The Sharks did get Fassi over from a great pieces of work Bosch to make the score 31-17 but the Jaguares hit back immediately with a penalty and two tries to take their lead to 46-17.

The Jaguares had one last try in them to take the score to 51-17 when Bosch was tackled over the line and the ball was grounded by Matias Orlando.

This was not the result the Sharks wanted but they have only themselves to blame.

At the end a bonus point win for the Jaguares, 51-17
