It took more than 40 minutes for the Crusaders to kick into gear against the Brumbies on Saturday when they beat them 36-14.
It was a first half we have not seen from the Crusaders in years. Not only did the Brumbies keep them scoreless but they went into the break 7-0 behind.
The Brumbies was impressive in that first half and were deservedly in front at halftime. It was a great solo effort form Christian Lealiifano that put the Brumbies ahead.
The second half was like day and night with the Crusaders that just moved into a higher gear.
It did not help the Brumbies that they conceded two yellow cards in the half. It is difficult enough to play this Crusaders with fifteen men so everyone knew that when the yellow cards came that it was game over for the Brumbies.
Tries from Sevu Reece(2), Will Jordan(2), Jordan Taufua turned everything around in that second half.
The Brumbies did get a conciliation try through Tevita Kuridrani but it was a Crusaders show in that second half.
The quality of the side shows when they can comeback for 7-0 down to win with a bonus point.
