DHL Stormers v Cell C Sharks (Result)

One of the worst games of rugby all year but the Sharks manage to score a late try to take the win and advance to the playoffs.

The Sharks started well with ball in hand playing in the Stormers half of the field and kept ball in hand.

They had opportunities in that first wave of attacks but Stormers defence hold on and kept the visitors off.

The game went from end to end as both sides try to get the ascendancy but fail every-time in execution.

The Stormers got a penalty over for the first points of the game in the 24 minutes.

With the Stormers on the Sharks line and gunning for the drive over with their forwards the ball went out against Smith feet who gathers it and ran all the way for the Sharks first try and the lead of 5-3.

The Stormers lost Bongi to the bin for a fore arm to the neck.

The Stormers were able to keep the Sharks out for the rest of the half with one man short and went into the break two points behind.

The second half was one of the worst half of rugby we have seen as both sides have no plan on attack and just could not do anything on attack waiting for the other to make a mistake.

This was a poor display of rugby and to see two SA teams play this way is was just an embarrassment really.

The Stormers added two penalties to take a lead going into the last two minutes but it was Am that broke the Stormers defence with a try after the hooter to give the Sharks a 12-9 win.

        1. Some great continuity from the Sharks taking it through the phases but Stormers defence holds #STOvSHA

        2. Sharks building nicely but just can not get that final punch to get through the Stormers defence, ball also too slow for Sharks to really do anything about it #STOvSHA

        3. Nt the best half with plenty of mistakes as bot sides try to run the ball with not much structure behind it.

        4. Here we go with the last 40 minutes, one side last 40 minutes of the season, still anybody game #STOvSHA
