    Recap

The Stormers got the win but without the bonus point which may be making the playoffs just that little bit to far to reach.

They made a lot of mistakes on attack and it was a disappointing performance with so much opportunities that they just did not convert

The Stormers had to defend the first few minutes to keep the Sunwolves out from their line.

They did get more ball and were looking good with ball in hand to start off with.

The Sunwolves took the lead from a penalty by Parker to get the scoreboard ticking.

The Stormers hit back with a try from Springbok Bongi Mbonambi after he broke away from a driving maul to score the first try.

The Stormers got their second try through Barry that went over in the corner after Dan Kriel stripped the ball in the tackle to make the initial break.

This gave the Stormers a 14-3 lead.

The rest of the half was stop start with no team really dominating making plenty of handling errors.

The game became a very stop start affair as they went in for the break.

The second half started as the first ended with plenty of opportunities but handling errors at the order of the day. It was the Stormers that scored first again through Coetzee.

This came from a kick by Vermaak which Barry chased and Coetzee with a massive dummy to go over.

This gave the Stormers a 21-6 lead after 56 minutes.

The Sunwolves had some good ball to play with and finally got pass the Stormers defence with some great passing to score their first try.

Coetzee got his second try for the Stormers when they had the perfect drive to stretch the lead again. This was quickly counter when the Sunwolves hit back immediately with there second try of the match.

This took away the bonus point the Stormers had and with again spilling a last minute opportunity the game ended with the Stormers winning 31-18.

        1. That is the end of the first half with the Stormers leading 14-6. It is certainly not pretty and no way near to a quality game with just too many mistakes from both sides. The game seemed to be played in slow motion, lets hope for a better second half #STOvSUN
