Recap

England waited till the last ten minutes to score a brace of tries to beat Australia 30-6.

It was a game that will be remembered for some controversial officiating leaded by Kiwi Ben O’Keeffe.

There were some crucial decisions by O’Keeffe that turned the match and will have Cheika fuming for week to come.

The game was played in the wet and was not easy for both teams as they kicked allot to gain advantage.

The Aussies looked good on attack but with England playing the ball behind them found them wanting a few times.

It was al kicks that dominate not just the first half but also the scoreboard in the half.

Australia had to play with fourteen men for twenty minutes when first Hooper was send off for to many penalties by him in the red zone and early in the second half Beale for a deliberate knock down.

England got the first try controversially after the TMO decided the ball did not touch the line on a kick through and awarded the try which gave England a great lead.

With Australia on attack the TMO and O’Keeffe was again in the frame and decided Moore was obstructing and disallowed a possible try for the Aussies.

For here is was downhill for the Aussies as mistakes cost them three tries in the last ten minutes for England to win 30-6.

England showed why they are the second-best team in the world and keeps on building into a unit that will challenge the All Blacks all the way.
