    Recap

The Bulls ended their tour with one win, one loss and two draws when they played to a 24-all draw against the Highlanders on Friday.

Both sides tried to score tries but handling and decision making at crucial times cost them both.

The Highlanders showed early on that they want to speed the game up and see if the big pack of the Bulls will be able to keep up.

They were doing all the attack early on which left the Bulls having to defend.

The Highlanders was first to score after a kick ahead was not gathered by Bulls and McKay had a free run to dive on the ball.

This gave the Highlanders a 7-0 lead but the Bulls were over shortly after with Brits breaking free from a drive for Jenkins to go over. The TMO then came in and judges that there was a knock on from Brits in the tackle which overturned the try.

The Highlanders opened up the Bulls defence again and this time Naholo was at the end of a cross-kick to get the home side second try and a 12-0 lead.

The Bulls did get over the line eventually for their first try when the bounce of the ball went for them to reduce the lead to 12-7.

The game stayed very loose and suited the Highlanders style and it was again McKay that went over after some poor defence from the Bulls in the midfield.

With the score at 19-7 the Bulls had a break from Odendaal which led to Jenkins try and no TMO coming in this team to deny the big man.

The teams went into the break with the home side leading 19-14.

It took the better part of 14 minutes in the second half before the Highlanders got Naholo over for his second of the night to extend the lead again.

This gave the home side a 10 point lead with 25 minutes still to play. The Bulls reduce the lead to 7 points again when Pollard slotted over a penalty.

The Bulls draw level with the Highlanders with four minutes to go when Visagie went over after sustain pressure from the visitors.

Both teams had opportunities to steal the game as they tried everything but just could not hang on to the ball.

At the end they ended 24-all after 80 minutes kicking the Highlanders out of the small possibility of making the playoffs.

The Bulls still have a slight chance.

        4. That is it for the first 40 minutes, Highlanders leading at the break in what is a very open game but with plenty of mistakes on attack from both sides. Still anyone game with 40 to go #HIGvBUL
