Hurricanes v Cheetahs (Result)



The Cheetahs crushed to another huge defeat when the Hurricanes bet them 61-7 on Saturday

The Cheetahs hold the Hurricanes well in the first 15 minutes but after trying to play within their own twenty-two the Hurricanes got over for their first try.

It took not long for them to speed up the game and scored their second try when they found the holes in the Cheetahs defence.

This gave them a 14-0 lead after 20 min.

The Cheetahs did hit back midway through the first half with a try of their own to get on the board and make the lead of the Hurricanes only 14-7.

With both teams trying to run the ball the Hurricanes had the better of the possession and scored their third try on the stroke of halftime to take a 21-7 lead at the break

The Hurricanes just dominated play in the second half and run in three quick tries as the Cheetahs defence were being stretch with one man less on the field.

This gave the Hurricanes a 42-7 lead after 60 min.

Although the Cheetahs tried as they could on attack their defence was yet again just not good enough and they let through more tries to give the Hurricanes a 61-7 win.
