It was not the greatest performance from the Lions but they did beat the Kings 42-19 with a bonus point. Just too many handling errors from the teams and the Lions struggled to get going
The Kings did again start as last week against the Sharks as they were first over the line fo rthe first try of the match taking the lead of 7-0 after 1 minute.
The Kings then tried to run from behind their own line and Tambwe intercept to scored the easiest try of his life to make the scores 7-all after 3 min.
The Lions got their second try after a brilliant drive which send Marc over and the lead off 14-7 after 12 min.
The Lions kept putting huge pressure on the Kings and kept playing in their half and a quick penalty take gave Jantjies his try and the Lions thrid of the match.
The Lions kept emence pressure on the Kings and they stayed in their half speeding up the game.
With the Lions on attack deep in Kings half they turned the ball over and scored on the other side to get the scoreboard kicking over.
The Lions kept scoring tries and got their forth try to take the score to 28-12 with only 25 minutes gone.
The Kings struggled to keep the Lions out and through some great play from the forwards the Lions got over for their fith try after 34 min taking the score to 35-12.
This was also the score at the break.
The Kings answer back in the beginning of the second half with a great try from Jaer in the corner which reduced the Lions lead to 35-19 after 44 min.
The game went a bit south with no team really keeping the ball in hands fro long periods and making allot of handling errors which kept the game with not much going on.
It took the Lions 36 min in the second half to socre their next try. That gave them a lead of 42-19 after 78 min.
That was the end score as well as the Lions took a bonu point win but pretty it was definitly not.
