Recap

New Zealand had to fight hard to keep the brave Scots out in the final minutes of the match to take a 22-17 win at the end.

The game started with Scotland in control forcing the All Blacks to defend for a better half of the first 20 minutes.

The Scots played some inventive rugby surprising the All Blacks with their attacking ability.

They were first on the board with a penalty to lead 3-0.

Some great opportunities also came the Scots way, but a few handling errors stop them from scoring.

The All Blacks had a few opportunities but with the Scottish defence up for it they could not found the space to get through and kept scoreless for better part of 32 min.

The All Blacks did manage to get a penalty over in the first forty minutes to go 3 all into the break.

It was a good start to the second half for the Scots but a mistake lead to the first try to the All Blacks and the lead of 8-3 after 47 minutes.

The All Blacks got their second try from a great kick by Williams and stretch their lead to 15-3. It looked like the Scots were starting to lose their composer but with some strong play got their first try.

This made the All Blacks lead only 15-10 with Cane in the bin with a yellow card.

It was again Williams with his magic that got Barrett away for his try to extend the All Blacks lead to 22-10.

Scotland never gave up and with another yellow card to the All Blacks they felt they had a chance, but the All Blacks just stepped up and showed why they are the best.

It had to be some brilliance from Huw Jones with quick hands that gave the Scots still a chance with minutes to go.

Scotland went all the way and almost created a win but a final past went forward which could have sealed a win or at least a draw against the World Champions.

At the end the All Blacks survived the last effort from Scotland to win 22-17.
