The Bulls was brought down to earth hard on Saturday when the Chiefs demolish them 56-20 at Loftus.
Definitely the worst game we saw from the Bulls this season as they Chiefs just ran them off their feet.
The Bulls struggled to get the dominance in the set pieces with the Chiefs dominating the rucks as well.
The Bulls lost Vermeulen early on which did not help them as well but their option taking and attack lack the energy we have seen this year.
The Chiefs were first to put points on the board with McKenzie boot to take an early lead 3-0.
Pollard counter that with a penalty from his boot to make it 3-all before the chiefs got hold off a loose ball to get over for the first try of the match.
That gave the Chiefs a 10-3 lead after 29 minutes. The Bulls only other points in the first half was a penalty from Pollard but the Chiefs kept scoring tries.
There speed on attack and handling was just too much for the Bulls in that first half and had a great lead of 24-6 at the break.
The second half started well for the Chiefs who immediately got back on the scoreboard with another try which took the lead to 31-6.
They got another one before the Chiefs was given a yellow card for a dangerous tackle. With an attacking lineout, Pollard got the ball, put a kick through for Kriel to pick up and power over the line.
That made the score 38-13 with 15 minutes to go. The Chiefs slotted a penalty to extend that lead to 41-13.
If that was not enough the Chiefs got another try with another penalty to 50 past the Bulls.
The Bulls were able to put one last effort in and it was Odendaal who powered through the gab to get over but the Chiefs had the last say with their seventh try at the sound of the hooter to end 56-20.
This was a poor performance from the Bulls but one must give huge credit to the Chiefs for the way they played today.
