The Brumbies seemed to struggle to get any flow into their game early on and handling errors stop the little changes they did get as well.
The skill level was not great from both teams and they made some ordinary mistakes on attack and too much handling errors from teams at this level.
The quality of play from both teams was disappointing as they kept on making silly errors and not really making any impact on attack.
The Brumbies did hit back after 26 minutes with a try of their own but the worrying stat at that stage was 32 handling errors in 26 minutes.
The game was going nowhere fast as neither team could get any control over the ball or in the match.
The teams went into the break with the scores level at 7 all.
Second half kept the trend of the first with both teams keep on making handling errors and not making much ground on attack.
We finally saw a try from the Brumbies in the 60 min as they took the lead 14-7. A third try came moments later when Speight kicked a ball through and collect it to score the Brumbies third try of the match.
It almost sparked the two teams with the Waratahs also getting over for a try through Gordon. This made the lead to the Brumbies only 21-12 after 64 minutes.
Poor defense from Tahs gave the Brumbies another try with Speight going over for his second making the lead 28-12 after 74 min.
