Israel Folau received the news today that Rugby Australia has issued him with a Code of Conduct breach notice.

This warrant the termination of his employment contract and he has now 48 hours to respond.

In there statement released on Monday Rugby Australia confirmed the termination and he can now except or request a hearing.

The Rugby Australia Integrity Unit deemed that Folau had committed a high-level breach of the Professional Players’ Code of Conduct warranting termination of his employment contract. Folau has 48 hours to accept the sanction or have the matter referred to a Code of Conduct hearing,” the statement read.

It is expected that Folau will challenge this now
