The Force took a step forward with a good away win against the Reds on Friday when they beat them 40-26.

Every week we hope we will see more from the Australians but the first half was again dominated by handling errors, bad decision making and penalties as the Force and the Reds struggled against each other.

The Reds showed some great prosprect with ball in hand at first but just too many mistakes stopped their chances of scoring tries.

They were the first to put points on the ball with a great try in the corner with Cooper showing glipses of his magic.

This gave them a 5-0 lead but not much more in that first thrity minutes.

The Force were not playing well at all and the few chances they did get were not taken. They did manage a penalty to make the lead only 5-3.

The Force slowly got back into the game through mistakes by the Reds and took full advantage of that and scored their first try just before the break to take the lead to 13-5.

The second half saw a bit more action and some more tries with the Reds scoring two second half tries and the Force with one.

The Reds kept giving away points with penalties and after 55 min the Force were leading 23-19.

The two teams both started to ran the ball more and scored some tries a piece frirst the Reds through Moore and then the Force came back with one of their own to take a lead of 30-26 after 64 min.

The Force kept scoring and the Reds kept on making mistakes that cost them points.
