After all of that the Currie Cup semi-finals will be in Bloemfontein and Johannesburg with the Free State Cheetahs hosting the Sharks and the Golden Lions taking on Griquas.
The Golden Lions and Griquas will kick off at 15:00 with the Free State and Sharks following at 17:15.
The Golden secured their home semi-final after they snatch a great win in Kimberley against Griquas 27-26.
It was a great game of rugby with both teams playing some top notch rugby at times. With the Golden Lions taking an early lead, the home side came back.
The Golden Lions got the win from a late penalty to secure the home semi-final.
In Bloemfontein we witness another cracker with Western Province going down to the home side after building a great lead.
It was one of the most exciting second halfs we saw all season as the home side took the win 38-33.
With this win the men from Bloemfontein secured the top of the log.
The Sharks had to work hard as well in Pretoria but eventually beat the Blue Bulls 48-40.
The game was nicely poised until Kotze received a red card for a dangerous tackle.

From here on to the end it would have always been going to be difficult for the Blue Bulls to get a win but they made a good effort in trying.
The Sharks only had to get a bonus point but they secured a bonus point win.
It is all or nothing next weekend to secure a place in the final
