The Free State and EP Kings was always going to be a difficult match for the Kings who had to play three games in seven days this week.
The start of the game was very loose and plenty of mistakes from both sides but more so from the Free State.
It was the EP Kings that scored first with some brilliant handling skills and speed in the backline to take the early lead in the match.
The Cheetahs came back with two penalties before they scored their first try through Lee after a typical Free State backline move. This gave the Free State the lead and the ascendancy in the match.
The second try for the Cheetahs did not take long to stretch that lead to 18-7 after 25 min.
The rest of the half was more or less with both teams trying but mistakes stopping their attacks.
The Free State did score one more try before halftime with Schoeman bouldering over in the corner.
That gave the Free State a halftime lead of 23-10.
The second half was much about the same with both teams trying to let the ball do the work but with so many mistakes on attack no one could get dominance early on to get over the others defense.
It was the Free State that finally went over for the first time when Schoeman yet again crosses the line for the Free State bonus point try.
The Free State started to put more phases together and the passes started to stick as they pull quickly away on the scoreboard with two quick tries.
That took the score to 38-13 with 10 min to go.
The Free State were not finished as they started to dominate all aspects of the game. Lee put the perfect kick through and collect it himself to score his second try of the match.
Both teams run in some more tries but at the end the Free State was just too good for the EP Kings winning the game 57-25.
