The Hurricanes secured a bonus point win at Loftus on Saterday when they beat the Bulls 34-20.
The Bulls had the worst start to the match they could have imagen with Barrett splitting their defence to score under the poles for the first try of the match and a lead of 7-0.
The Bulls did not look bad on attack and a perfect chip kick was gather by Duncan Matthews on debut to score the Bulls first try and level the score at 7 all.
The Bulls had chances in the Hurricanes twenty-two but poor passing left them shy of scoring another try.
The Hurricanes again from a set-piece split the Bulls defence and scored an easy try to take the lead 14-7 after 20 min.
The Bulls slotted over a few penalties to take their score to 13, trailing just with 1 point but that was short lived with the Hurricanes scoring their third try.
The end of the half was a disappointment for the Bulls with them on attack giving the ball away and the Hurricanes working their way down the field and score in injury time to take a 24-13 lead.
The first 17 minutes of the second half was hard to watch as both teams made too many mistakes and could not get phases together for extended periods of time.
It was the Hurricanes that scored first with a penalty in the 58 min to take the lead to 27-13. The Hurricanes quickly extend the lead with yet another try from broken play.
The Bulls had so much possession and territory but could not turned it into points as their attack look average to say the least.
The Bulls did get over the Hurricanes line after 77 min and pulled the score back a bit with the Hurricanes lead only 34-20.
At the end the Hurricanes took the win with a much-needed bonus point as well.
