The Jaguares confirmed in the early our on Saturday that they are the top side in the South African conference when they easily beat the Sunwolves 52-10.
They are almost certain to have a home semi final if they get pass their quarter final match.
They outscored the struggling Sunwolves with eight tries to two with Santiago Carreras, Sebastian Cancelliere (2), Julian Montoya, Juan Cruz Mallia, Matias Moroni and Javier Ortega Desio all crossing the whitewash.
For the Sunwolves Gerhard van den Heever and Semisi Masirewa scored as they brought the curtain down on a hugely disappointing season.
What impressed yet again was the Jaguares defence when the Sunwolves came out hard early on with their attack.
This is the major difference this season for the Jaguares, they have one of the best attacks in the competition but have also one of the best defensive systems to back it up.
There can not be much said about the Sunwolves who again just looked like a team with no real plan than trying to throw the ball around.
Their defence were shocking again and they were making too many errors o attack.
The Sunwolves ends the season 14 losses and only two wins. Next year will be the last season for the Japanese outfit and to be honest, I do not see anything change from what we have seen since they came into the competition.
For the Jaguares, it is a real chance now to lift the trophy this year and they will be a good bet to put some money on.
