De Jongh has fully recovered from his knee injury and will take the number 12 jersey again. Last week players that was given a rest all returned to the starting line up in Kolbe, Groom, Cloete, Kleyn and Kitshoff. The coach have however not decided who will his final back three be and will only make that decision before kick-off on Friday.

Province had a good few weeks with good wins over the Blue Bulls, Sharks and Pumas. They even stag up some bonus points as well as the young Du Preez at ten brought some new attacking dimensions to the Province team. One should not be surprised in the rise of Du Preez as he and Pollard competed for the 10 jumper throughout the age groups for South Africa.

Friday night will be a huge challenge for this Province team as they face a rampant Golden Lions team. A win over the Lions will put Province in a good position to fight it out for a home semi final spot with the Blue Bulls.
