It is crush time for South African teams with all five sides fighting for that playoff spot which makes this another important match for both sides.

Both side have suffered some injury concerns ahead of this match and the Lions have also excluded Jantjies from the team for some team protocols which was not followed by the Springbok.

We expect a massive clash in the two forward packs and it all points to a game where we will see some tries as well.

The Stormers got an important win last week against the Highlanders with the Lions coming up short against the Sharks.

It seems that the teams that loss here this weekend will find it very hard to make the playoffs, so everything to play for.

You also do not need any motivation when the Lions and Stormers  run on a rugby field with plenty of passion which we will see.

The Stormers will be led by Steven Kitshoff with the injury to Kolisi who is not available.

Kolisi (knee, Pieter-Steph du Toit (Shoulder) and Kobus van Dyk (knee) was not considered for the match.

This means Sikhumbuzo Notshe will start at eight with Jaco Coetzee moving to the side of the scrum.

Johan du Toit will be on the other side of the scrum.

We also see the return of Eben Etzebeth in the second row partnering Cobus Wiese for this game.

In the front row Wilco Louw comes in for Malherbe who moves to the bench.

Robbie Fleck left his backline unchanged from last week hoping he will see the same attacking play from his backs.

With Jantjies out due to disciplinary reasons, Shaun Reynolds will take up the number ten jumper.

Whiteley has also been ruled out for this match and the rest of the Super Rugby season.

The Lions do have the service of Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx back again which will add a lot to the team as they expect a massive onslaught from the Stormers in the set pieces.

Carlu Sadie will make a return to the front row as well and we also see Vincent Tshituka coming in at the side of the scrum.

This force Cyle bring to move across to the number six jumper.

Kwagga Smith will captain the side again from number eight.

The bench will also play a major role as we expect the two teams to give the ball air trying to get the maximum out of the game.
