The Brumbies got the win over the Blues on Saturday when they 26-21.

The Blues was first on the board when TJ Faiane got over for the first try of the match. The conversion was missed but they quickly extended the lead with a brilliant interception from Caleb Clarke.

That gave the Blues a 12-0 lead early on and it was looking good for the visitors.

The Blues speed on attack caught the Brumbies out a few time in that first half.

The Blues then lost a player to the bin when Alex Hodgman was spotted on a late tackle.

The Brumbies hit back with their first try from Folau Fainga’a which reduced the lead to 12-5.

The Blues got a penalty to extend the lead by three again before the Brumbies camped outside the Blues tryline and send James Slipper over eventually for their second try.

That reduce the score to 15-12 for the visitors which was also the score when the two teams went into the break.

The Blues lost Ofa Tuungafasi also in the second half at a Brumbies maul.

The Brumbies took again full advantage of the extra man and Fainga’a went over for their first try of the second half and the lead for the first time in the game.

The Blues then began a mini fightback and got two penalties over to retake the lead 21-19 before Fainga’a went over for his third try of the match.

That gave the home side the lead back again at 26-21. They were able to hold on to that lead till the end and take an important win.
