The Crusaders turned Christchurch into a slaughterhouse when they wiped the Rebels off the park beating them 66-0.

The champions looked untouchable and send a huge message to all that thought taking the title away from them will be easy.

They also secured the top spot in the overall log which means they will play all their playoff matches at home and as we have seen over the years, you do not come to Christchurch and get a win.

The champions scored 10 tries to none, nothing, niks, niente.

Reece and Ennor both got hat-tricks on the day with Havili, Hall and Crotty pitching in as well.

Mo’unga added seven conversions with Crotty getting one.

The Rebels was were never in the game and were 26-0 down at the break.

At the end it was just a masterclass form the champions and one which the Rebels will want to forget.
