Match Report – Scotland too good for Georgia

Scotland got another win over Georgia to end their preparations for the World Cup before getting on the plane to Japan.

Although they beat the Georgians 36-9 it was far from convincing.

There was still too much errors in the Scots game as they struggle throughout the game with handling and decision making at times.

Georgia was still in the match at the break bit tries from Sam Johnson, Darcy Graham, George Horne and Pete Horne pulled the game away from the visitors.

Scotland did look dangerous with ball in hand but it was what they did with that ball that is worrying.

It was only a warm-up game but basics should not be a problem at this stage of their preparations.

Their defence was good as they kept the Georgians out but against better sides Scotland may struggle in this World Cup.

Six tries to none one can not complain much but still some work to do for the Scots if they want to be a threat at the World Cup and make the final 8.

The scorers:

For Scotland:
Tries: Price, Kinghorn, Johnson, Graham, G Horne, P Horne
Cons: Hastings 2, G Horne
Yellow Card: Fagerson

For Georgia:
Pens: Abzhandadze 3
Yellow Cards: Nariashvili, Dzneladze
