Preview – Cell C Sharks v Vodacom Blue Bulls

It is going to be a difficult one in Durban come Saturday when the Sharks host the Blue Bulls in round two of this years Currie Cup.

The Sharks coach have selected no less than six Springboks in his starting lineup which makes this a great game to look forward to.

All of Curwin Bosch, Lwazi Mvovo, Rob du Preez, Louis Schreuder, Dan du Preez and Chiliboy Ralepelle will be starting for the Sharks.

With the great depth the Sharks have in the union one always expected them to be a front runner for the title this year but they have so many times disappointed with their star lineups.

The Bulls have already gotten an away win over the Cheetahs last week and will be full of confindance with their new look team when they travel to Durban.

They surprised everyone with their set pieces especially with their scrums and will want to dominate the Sharks as they did the Cheetahs last week.

With Jesse Kriel back from the Boks the Blue Bulls also have someone that can organise their defence in midfield and are a great player on attack

Of course it is great to have Jesse back in the team. He is a world class player and we welcome him back with a smile on our faces,” said Human.

That said, this remains a team game and a team effort. We need to make sure we create the opportunities and space for someone like Jesse to perform. The Sharks also have a couple of Springboks in their squad, so they will be a pretty tough team to beat, especially in Durban, where they hosted the final last year.”

Jeremy Ward returns to the midfield for the Sharks and he will partner with Marius Louw.

Scrumhalf Cameron Wright, Namibia international Johan Deysel and exciting young wing Aphelele Fassi have been named on bench for the Sharks.

There are a few players who will want to show Springbok coach Erasmus what they can do and it should spice up the match.

Allot of eyes will be on Curwin Bosch after being left out of the Springbok group for the Rugby Championship.

This will be a tough old match with the Sharks the slight favourites
