The Hurricanes had to fight hard to beat the Bulls on Saturday when they beat them 35-28.
The Bulls would be kicking themselves for the mistakes they made which the Hurricanes score some easy tries in the first half.
It was a massive 80 minute effort from the Bulls and they can be proud of their season.
The Bulls had a decent start to the match pushing the Hurricanes into their half with some good interplay from forwards and backs.
The Hurricanes came back into the game with a poor pass that the Hurricanes kicked forward and forced a lineout inside the Bulls half.
From a scrum five meters out the Hurricanes got a penalty which Barrett easily converted to put them in the lead.
The Bulls then scored the first try when they spread the ball wide from a lineout on the halfway line and Kriel broke the defence to send Gelant away to score in the corner.
The Hurricanes hit back immediately with a try from Perenara after they got over the advantage line through some pretty poor defence from the Bulls. This gave them back the lead again after 18 minutes.
The Hurricanes got over the line again when Lam got through the Bulls defence to score the second try for the home side.
The Bulls was caught asleep when the Hurricanes took a quick lineout to send Rayasi over for another try and a massive lead early on of 24-7.
The Bulls hit back with Hendricks crossing the line to get back into the game. Pollard converted the try to make the lead only 24-14 after 35 minutes.
The teams went into the break with the Hurricanes leading 24-14 but the Bulls would have kicked themselves for the mistakes they made to let the Hurricanes build scoreboard pressure.
The Hurricanes had the perfect start to the second half after Pollard could not gather a high kick with the Hurricanes scored their forth try of the match.
Mistakes has been costing the Bulls big time up to then.
The Bulls got back on the Hurricanes line and after the TMO could not award a try from Vermeulen but got a penalty try after a deliberate knock down by Rayasi.
The Hurricanes got a penalty over before Hendricks showed his class making small work of Jordie Barrett attempt to tackle the winger.
This reduce the lead to to only 32-28 with 20 minutes to go.
The Hurricanes got another penalty over to take their lead to 35-28 and were starting to speed up the game.
The last ten minutes was frantic with both teams having throw everything at it. At the end neither could breach the defence and the Hurricanes held on to the victory.
