  1. I hear you.
Petersen yes maybe (I smell the hand of his agent here) but Ruhle… who was doing the thinking there?
Thank heavens he’s not coming to Joburg.
The Lions would do well to have a look at that inside center from Griquas.
The Bulls have done briliantly by taking on Stefan Ungerer. After Faf De Klerk by miles the best South African scrumhalf.

  2. @DavidS:

David, even as good as Petersen might be, we have loads of small wings running around the Cape, I really do not see the wisdom of signing another.

As for Rhule, you said it, I honestly fail to see why the Province recruiters thought this would be a good idea. Meanwhile the Sharks signed the real upcoming Cheetahs star wing (Mapimpi) all at 1.87m and 90kg, while we get the midgets. The mind boggles.

  3. @Jacques:

As much as I do not have time for Thelo, surely he does not suggest who to sign and who not? Identifying players and signing them must get an ok from the likes of Smal and co. Who thought WP needed two new wings?

  4. @bryce_in_oz:

Haha, remember Zas is also coming back from injury.

Will Ruhan Nel be heading back to Sevens with Kok or will he stick around?

I like the look of him and he is a big unit (100kg).

  5. At least Zas is not a midget and SP Marais is not too bad defensively.

I would play a back three of Marais, Zas and Leyds for the Stormers if all the Sevens guys were to return to Sevens for Super rugby.

Don’t see any place for Rhule and Petersen at all.
