Scotland have swept Russia off the field on Wednesday when they beat them 61-0.

The Scots were in a mood to score tries and did not let up throughout the game outplaying the Russians in all departments. Their World Cup is on the line as they are fighting it out with Ireland and Japan to get to the quarter finals.

With this win all is depending on their last group match against Japan on Sunday to see of they can make it in the quarter finals.

It took them 13 minutes to get on the board but once they did they let the floodgates open against the Russians who just did not had any answer to the attacking game of the Scots.

Scotland scored nine tries to nothing and also earned a crucial bonus point

George Horne starred with a hat-trick while Adam Hastings (2), George Turner, Tommy Seymour, John Barclay and Stuart McInally also crossed, with Hastings kicking eight conversions for a 26-point haul.

It was none stop action from the Scots and the best way they could have asked for to go into Sundays match against Japan

Scorers:

Scotland: Tries – Adam Hastings(2), George Horne(3), George Turner(2), Tommy Seymour, John Barclay, Stuart McInally Conversions – Adam Hastings(8)
