Rugby World Cup – Second half blitz sees Fiji run in the tries

A brilliant second half saw Fiji ran away with the match against Georgia on Thursday when they beat them 45-10.

Fiji ran in seven tries of which six came in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Georgia just did not had any answer to the flying Fijians in that second half as they showcase the DNA of Fiji rugby.

The handling skills from Fiji was the best we have seen in the tournament in that second half and add the speed and power by their players they were unstoppable.

They only led 7-3 in a tightly contested first half. Georgia were able to stay in the game with some good structured play but the one thing that was a surprise, was the Fiji scrum.

They were able to stand up to Georgia powerful scrum and just let loose in that second half.

Georgia could only manage one try form Mamuka Gorgodze with Matiashvili that added a conversion and a penalty.

This was a great win for Fiji after the disappointment in the loss to Uruguay.
